Circa £26,000 plus tips

Our client operates a contemporary and unique small collection of “real” Gastro Pubs; well known for its fine dining, wine selection and use of quality local ingredients. This stunning Gastro Pub offers delicious locally sourced food at an exceptional standard. This Restaurant with rooms has a warm, welcoming and friendly feel and is located in a small, quaint village surrounded by Hampshire countryside. They currently enjoy a very strong trade from the local community and are receiving a collection of awards for their hard work.
We are looking to recruit a Head Chef to control and develop this young team. The role of Head Chef will include consistently producing and developing the food offering and continue at this exceptional standard. Applicants for the Head Chef role must be organised, energetic and have the confidence of running a kitchen, along with waste control and maintaining due diligence documentation. This role will suit a strong and ambitious Sous Chef who is hungry to make a name for themselves in this stunning environment. Candidates for this role of Head Chef must have a “SPARK” and the right attitude and outlook on kitchen life.

Due to the location and the nature of the role, candidates for the role are required to have their own transport.
What We Are Looking For
Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
Experience in Rosette awarded fine dining, professional kitchens are essential from all candidates.
Strong and ambitious Chef looking to make a name for themselves.
Ideally a strong and ambitious Sous Chef who is currently working at a 2AA Rosette level.
Excellent organisation and communication skills along with a love for the kitchen environment.
A passion for food and its presentation, service, and quality.
Career minded individuals wishing to excel and develop their career.
