The Company
Our client operates an open, working farm set in the Perthshire countryside. They invite guests to wander the farm to their hearts content, browse the wonderful farm shop (offering homemade chutneys, jams, meats etc) and enjoy a meal or a snack in their licensed café. Using only the freshest, seasonal, local ingredients this farm shop and café create beautiful produce to either enjoy on site or take home.
The role
We are looking to recruit a Head Chef to join their kitchen team. As Head Chef you will be responsible for all menus and the smooth running of all aspects of the kitchen. You will be responsible for the production of all products prepared on site, including the jams and chutneys sold in the farm shop. As many products as possible are made on site, using local ingredients where possible. You will also be responsible for all health and safety procedures, paperwork and ordering. Previous experience working with fresh, seasonal produce is essential. Shifts will consist of five days out of seven; from 8am – 5pm. Due to the rural location your own transport is a must.
