The Company
Our client operates a private boarding school in Dorset. The school caters for all students and staff as well as running a commercial business including functions and weddings. Located in a beautiful West Country town with the Dorset countryside as a backdrop this is so much more than just a school.
The role
We are looking to employ an experienced chef to take over Sous Chef responsibilities and assist the Head Chef. Producing 1,500 meals a day to feed all the students and staff, while using only fresh produce this position would suit a chef with high volume experience. An enthusiasm for fresh seasonal ingredients is essential. The ideal candidate would also have an understanding of conference and banqueting, as this is a thriving commercial business as well as a school.
What We Are Looking For
·    Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
·    Previous experience at Sous Chef level or higher.
·    Excellent people, man-management, organisation, and communication skills.
·    A passion for quality food and ensuring a consistent guest experience.
·    Previous hotel and function experience.
·    6 months accommodation is available for candidates looking to relocate.
