The Company
Our client operates a beautiful country inn set in a classic Suffolk village. With a traditional 15th century exterior you will be surprised by the contemporary design when you enter. The inn is locally renowned for offering fresh, seasonal, award winning food cooked to the highest level, using local ingredients where possible. The food has also been recognised nationally by being awarded three rosettes.
The role
We are looking to employ an experienced chef to take over Sous Chef responsibilities and assist our Head Chef. Shifts would consist of splits and straights, working five days out of seven. This would suit an experienced Junior Sous or Sous Chef looking for a new challenge. Responsibilities would involve assisting with the running of the kitchen. An enthusiasm for fresh seasonal ingredients is essential.
What We Are Looking For
·    Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
·    Previous experience at Junior Sous level or higher.
·    Experience working with fresh seasonal produce at multiple rosette level.
·    Excellent people, man-management, organisation, and communication skills.
·    A passion for quality food and ensuring a consistent guest experience.
