Assistant Manager Job Description
Very profitable Golf Club set in the Wiltshire countryside and extremely popular wedding venue.
Assistant Brasserie Manager required. Under the direction of the Clubhouse Manager, Deputy General Manager and the General Manager to satisfactorily manage all aspects of the food and beverages offered within the Clubhouse environment and ensure that they meet the required standards of quality, cost, income and profit.
Key responsibilities include:
Floor service in conjunction with the other Brasserie Supervisors
Improving service standards, professionalism and guest experience by implementing a new regime of standard operating procedures in conjunction with senior food & beverage team
Preparing and completing rotas, updating brasserie reservations diary from function sheets and ensuring that all planning for occasions, events and functions are complete prior to guests arrival
Training of all food & beverage staff to achieve a high standard of professional service
Operational running of the Clubhouse environment in conjunction with the Clubhouse Manager and deputizing in their absence
Monitoring of liquor licensing laws and assisting with the management of the cellar including stock rotation, ordering, stock takes and line cleaning
Ensuring that daily takings and accounts are processed correctly and reconciled
You will have an excellent knowledge of current health, safety and licensing legislation, together with current food & hygiene regulations.
It is essential that you have previously motivated, supervised and developed a team of staff and have the highest customer care standards.
Finally, you will have a flexible hands-on approach to working hours, including a combination of early and late shift to accommodate business needs.
You will also have high standards of personal presentation.
This is a full-time salaried position with potential performance bonus the criteria of which will be agreed on commencement
