Trendy and relaxed cocktail bar, offering an eclectic mix of international flavours and top of the range wines within the beautiful Georgian city of Bath.
The Role
This hands-on role requires an energetic, professional team leader, who has an excellent track record in hospitality and who thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Your focus must be on professionalism and providing a superior customer experience. The ideal candidate must possess in depth knowledge about Wines, Spirits, Cocktails and other drink ingredients. In addition, we will also be looking for superior customer relations skills. Excellent communication is essential to build a rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guest’s needs and requirements
A genuine interest and understanding of food and drink plus knowledge of Classic cocktails and Wines
Exceptional communication and presentational skills
Ability to think on your feet and under pressure whilst maintaining a positive outlook and attention to detail
Able to organise time effectively, forward plan and prioritise tasks to ensure work load is balanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately. Ability to multitask
Advise guests on cocktail & wine choices
Prepare cocktail orders and wine orders
Create & develop additional cocktails – alcoholic & non-alcoholic
Maintain Bar area, stock and equipment including stock requirements / orders
Staff training, monitoring and development
Assume responsibility for profit & loss, profit margins and cash handling / banking
Computer & Literacy Skills:
Experience of or a good working knowledge of using a computerised ordering system.
Basic maths / financial calculations.
