Catering Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced contract caterer immediately for a 70% cooking 30% admin role in the Exeter area.
This role would suit someone who is a mature communicator and who has a natural sense of responsibility. As Chef Manager for our prestigious client, you must be able to set a good example to all those you come into contact with and this relates to your personal presentation and behaviour, the way you communicate instructions to staff and ensure that they are followed through; and in the way you represent the organisation at all times
Do you have experience of working with a major contract caterer at Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef level?
Do you have a genuine service mentality?
Are you autonomous but also effective in building relationships?
Do you enjoy catering for the 18-35 years age group?
Do you have experience in developing people and IIP maintenance?
We require all candidates to be 'Train the Trainer' qualified with a full clean driving licence and both Intermediate Food Hygiene and Health and Safety certificates
You will also be qualified to NVQ 3 level or equivalent in Professional Cookery of similar
