The Company
Our client operates a beautiful hotel in the Suffolk town of Bury St Edmonds. This hotel, complete with its own gardens, creates the perfect location for any conference, wedding, family event or just dinner and wine. Also boasting a stunning two-rosette awarded restaurant which has recently been restyled this is a hotel very much on the local radar.
The role
We are looking to employ an experienced chef to take over Sous Chef responsibilities and assist our Head Chef. Shifts would consist of mainly splits, working five days out of seven. This would suit an experienced Chef de Partie, Junior Sous or Sous Chef looking for a new challenge. Responsibilities would involve assisting with the running of the kitchen. Successful applicants must have a strong rosette background. An enthusiasm for fresh seasonal ingredients is essential. Due to the rural location your own transport is a must.

·    Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
·    Previous experience at Senior Chef de Partie level or higher in a rosette establishment.
·    Experience working with fresh seasonal produce.
·    Excellent people, man-management, organisation, and communication skills.
·    A passion for quality food and ensuring a consistent guest experience.
