We are recruiting a Head Chef who's passionate about clean, simple Italian cooking!!! This role would be ideal for a Sous chef who is looking to make a new move for the New Year.
Our client is based in a surfers paradise in North Cornwall and is seeking a happy, energetic and experienced Chef who will fit in with a professional but easy-going team. They are about to re-open their existing business as a modern Italian but for the moment, the champagne's on hold until they find the right person to start this business, grow with it and promote it!! The ideal Candidate will really care about meeting suppliers, fitting in with the local community and have a good head for business.
You will be managing a team of 6, dealing in good-value, medium-volume, authentic Italian cooking. You must be flexible in your approach to working hours, without constant direction from the management, depending on the tourist seasons. Local knowledge is a distinct advantage for this role, being based in a rural community, however this is not essential. Own transport preferred. Only those eligible to live and work in the UK need apply.
