The Role
As Sous Chef you will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of running a smooth kitchen operation, from liaising with suppliers, stock control and ordering, staff training and motivation and ensuring high standards of health, safety & hygiene at all times, deputising in the Head Chef’s absence.
What We Are Looking For
Successful individuals will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:
Excellent communication and people skills.
Creative thinking - top Chefs are visionaries who rely on innovative thinking to develop and implement strategies and menu ideas.
Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.
Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.
