Sous Chef Job Description
This privately owned property with a fantastic reputation for food and a strong local following are currently looking for a Sous Chef for a classic traditional pub with everything homemade from scratch.
As Sous chef you will be assisting the head chef and manage a team of 4, catering for approx 100-150 covers per day (lunch & dinner), getting busier over the weekends.
You will have previous experience in a busy pub / restaurant, producing quality food. You will be enthusiastic, reliable, highly skilled, hard working and responsible in the absence of the Head Chef and have a passion for fresh food and menu development.
Salary circa £17000 + good tips and benefits. Live-in position available. You must have your own transport due to the rural location or be able to reach countryside location without public transport.
