Popular independent Bistro, serving quality freshly prepared dishes.
The Role
As Head Chef you will assist the owner with the running this busy kitchen; from sourcing suppliers and negotiating prices to ensuring all relevant paperwork and health & safety standards are maintained and recorded.
This is a small working team and you must be very hands-on, have previous experience in similar establishments and work well under pressure. The ideal candidate would be somebody who loves to work with fresh produce and help a new venture prosper. You must be adaptable and able to work within a very small team.
Open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, our vibrant Client offers an informal yet professional approach while sticking to their friendly neighbourhood vibe.

Successful individuals will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:
Ability to maintain the highest standards at all times and a keen eye for detail.
Creative thinking - top Head Chefs are visionaries who rely on innovative thinking to develop and implement strategies and menu ideas.
Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.
Great team player and motivator with the passion to take autonomy for the kitchen.
Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.
