Our client operates a beautiful, award winning café, serving freshly made, stunning products. From homemade pastries and bread in the daytime to beautiful game and meat dishes in the evening, this café has something for any mood. The patisserie is part of the café, so diners have an extensive choice of dessert. The food available here has a definite French style, showcasing a range of strong flavours.
The role
As Pastry Chef you be responsible for the day-to-day operation of their busy Pastry section. Working closely with the Head Chef you will be responsible for creating new, exciting menus and products, showcasing your all round pastry experience. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop within an ever-growing company. Previous pastry experience up to a two rosette level is essential.
What We Are Looking For
· Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
· Previous experience as a Pastry Chef with the ability to follow recipes and write menus.
· Excellent people, man-management, organisation, and communication skills.
· Experience within a rosette plus environment is essential.
· A passion for quality food and ensuring a consistent guest experience.
