Our client operates a contemporary and unique small collection of “real” Gastro Pubs; well known for it’s fine dining, wine selection and use of quality local ingredients. This stunning Gastro Pub offers delicious locally sourced food at an exceptional standard. This Restaurant with rooms has a warm, welcoming and friendly feel and is located in a small, quaint village surrounded by Hampshire countryside. They currently enjoy a very strong trade from the local community and are receiving a collection of awards for their hard work including 2AA rosettes. Our client is looking to fill the vacancies necessary to continue the desired standard.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join this friendly kitchen brigade. The role of Junior Sous Chef will include consistently producing food to a high standard along with learning and using modern techniques to help accomplish the standard. Applicants for the Junior Sous Chef role must be organised, energetic and have a knowledge of running a smooth section, waste control and maintaining due diligence through all the tasks undertaken. This role will suit a very strong and accomplished Chef de Partie who has a love for kitchen life and want to work at the top of their game. Candidates for this role of Junior Sous Chef must have a “SPARK” and be looking for a fresh challenge in this beautiful location. Successful applicants are desired to have the willingness to learn under a fantastic Head Chef utilizing his experience.
