Our client is a 5 Red Star hotel in the beautiful Irish countryside, with 60 luxury bedrooms, 4 Villas, 2 AA Rosette Restaurant as well as Spa facilities. With sights set on a 3 AA Rosettes in the future our client has surrounded itself with some of the best Chefs in Europe. They offer traditional French cuisine with contemporary twists, keeping up with modern styles and conventions.
Our Client is currently looking for a Sous Chef with an excellent background working with traditional French cuisine to work alongside the current Head Chef, leading the pre-existing team of enthusiastic Chefs and reaching new heights with the exceptional food offering.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional creative vision, a proven history working in amazing venues, longevity throughout their career and an outstanding ability to train, lead and motivate the kitchen brigade.
A background working in red star hotels is highly desired but candidates with a background working in top end restaurants will be considered.
What We Are Looking For
Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience as a Sous Chef in Red Star Hotels
- Experience in man management
- Experience with traditional French cuisine
- Excellent organisation and communication skills along with a love for the kitchen environment.
- A passion for food and its presentation, service, and quality.
