Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, who has an opening within their organisation for a strong Chef de Partie at their award winning, iconic restaurant in Brighton.

 

As an organisation, they offer a great life work balance, with opportunities to train and develop alongside the role. They pride themselves on serving a unique, high quality product, which involves innovative vegetarian cuisine. The restaurant also has a dedicated pastry section and offers a range of retail products and outside catering in addition to the restaurant service.

 

An ideal candidate would be energetic, motivated and passionate about producing fantastic food. There is also an opportunity to work alongside the Head Chef to develop new and stylish dishes.

 

Skills / Experience Required

 

Have experience as Chef de Partie within a similar operation 

Be able to work under pressure, be an excellent communicator, organised and committed. 

Have a positive attitude and a passion for food and cooking

Be a hands on team player with a keen understanding of kitchen management

Have a history of solid proven cooking skills and the ability to follow precise recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation check lists. 

Be fluent in English and eligible to work in the United Kingdom 

 

Salary: £23K per annum

Hours: 2 days off a week, 48hrs, straight shifts

Holidays: 28 days
