The Company

Our client operates an independently owned, award winning Village Inn. Located in one of the most beautiful areas in the country this Inn is popular with locals and tourists alike. The restaurant is rosette awarded and uses fresh seasonal ingredients to produce quality dishes to wet the appetite. The Inn also has beautifully decorated en suite rooms available.

The role

We are looking to employ an experienced chef to take over Chef de Partie responsibilities and assist our senior kitchen team. Shifts would consist of split shifts, working five days out of seven. The successful candidate will also be responsible for running the kitchen on Mondays. Shifts will be predominantly split shifts; the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening. This would suit an experienced Demi Chef or Chef de Partie looking for a new challenge. Responsibilities would involve assisting with the running of the kitchen. An enthusiasm for fresh seasonal ingredients is essential. Due to the rural location your own transport is essential.

What We Are Looking For

· Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:

· Previous experience at Demi Chef de Partie level or higher.

· Experience working with fresh seasonal produce.

· Previous experience working in rosette kitchens is desirable.

· Excellent people, man-management, organisation, and communication skills.

· A passion for quality food and ensuring a consistent guest experience.

· Access to your own transport.
