The Company

Our client operates a small collection of stunning fresh food Gastro Inns in the South West of the UK . With a love and passion for local sourced quality ingredients cooked and served to an exceptional standard and unrivalled, precise service, our client is looking to continue their success with future openings planned.

The role

We are recruiting for a General Manager to take control of this stunning establishment and lead this friendly and award-winning team. The role will involve managing the team and ensuring that the property is running at full capacity daily.

Key parts of this role is to ensure that all guests are receiving exceptional service through the training and development of staff.

This role will suit a Manager who is passionate about providing an unforgettable service along with a love for a good quality food offering. Successful General Manager applicants will be coming from a Food & Beverage background along with previous experience managing a food led Gastro Pub.

The ideal General Manager will have a passion for hospitality along with the ability to think on their feet and be confident to run the operation.

Candidates for the role of General Manager are required to have previous marketing experience with the ability to identify gaps in the market.

Due to the nature of the role and the properties location, candidates for the role of General Manager are required to have their own transport.

What We Are Looking For

Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:

· Professional experience as a General Manager is a food led Gastro Pub or Restaurant is required from our client.

· Friendly, approachable and out going nature.

· A strong Manager with the ability to control a medium sized team.

· Excellent organisation, service and communication skills.

· A natural passion for food and maintaining standards.

· Career minded individuals wishing to excel.
