This operation is currently run as a teashop serving fresh local items along homemade cakes, scones and jams etc. Our client is looking to expand and develop the site with dreams of a rustic restaurant and working farm. With a large selection of local suppliers and ingredients, our client is really spoilt for choice and wants the opportunity to utilise the best the area has to offer. With views of Somerset, South Gloucestershire & Wales, this is definitely the place to relax and take in the scenery.

The role

We are looking to recruit a Head Chef to join and the lead the food operation in this ambitious establishment. Although the current operation is fairly small, there are the plans in place to move forward with this exciting expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your career with this employer and have a hand in all menus and items produced.  Candidates for the role of Head Chef are desired to have the drive to succeed and always move forward. Head Chef applicants are also desired to have a precise yet rustic outlook on menus and knowledge of the best the area has to offer. Successful applicants for the role of Head Chef are desired to have knowledge of working with fresh, nature inspired menus.

The role of Head Chef would suit a Sous Chef or very strong Senior Chef de Partie who is looking for a real project to get their teeth in to. This is a very exciting opportunity and one that can’t be overlooked.

Due to the location, candidates for the role of Head Chef are required to have their own transport.
