The Company

Our client operates a coastal Hotel property in this stunning part of Cornwall. The property itself is set in stunning grounds with views that are rarely beaten. After a recent extensive refurbishment, our client is renowned in the area. With a passion for refined service, our client is looking to continue and develop their offering in this gorgeous property.

The role                           

We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to take on the important role within the kitchen department. The role of Sous Chef will involve being part of the running of this fantastic rosette standard restaurant, under the direction of the Executive Chef. This will allow the successful candidate to cook coastal inspired cuisine to an exceptional standard.

We are looking for an ambitious chef who is looking to develop their existing skills and take the next step in your career. Working closely with the Executive, you will be able to produce mouth watering food in this inspiring location.

What We Are Looking For

Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous professional experience at either a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef level.

  • A passion for food, its quality and presentation.

  • Coastal ingredient knowledge.

  • Previous experience within rosette standard establishments.

  • Excellent people, organisation and communication skills.
