Baker - South Oxfordshire

Job Description

Baker needed for Artisan bakery in the South Oxfordshire countryside, to assist with producing a range of handmade loaves, baps, sweet buns, specialty breads and sourdoughs.

Bakers must have experience working in a commercial kitchen - bakery experience is desired but not essential as full training will be given!

Brief Outline of Duties 

 -Liaise with the Bakery Manager to ensure that the correct amount and type of goods are baked for sale each day.

 -Bake special orders as required.

 -Ensure cleanliness of bakery area and ensure compliance to all food safety and health and hygiene requirements.

 -Liaise with Bakery Manager to develop new lines as appropriate.

 -Assist with the overall smooth running of the shop including any necessary cleaning or replenishment tasks.

 -Provide a flexible customer focussed service.

 -Operate any tills/weighing equipment both accurately and efficiently.

 -Undertake any reasonable requests by the Store Manager/Bakery Manager. 

The position will be working from approximately 2am/3am until 11am/midday, 5 days per week, including at least one weekend day.

 

Full-time, permanent position

Up to £33,000 depending on experience.
