General Catering Assistant job role

We are hiring an experienced General Catering Assistant to work part time or full time in a renowned and quirky pie shop located in central Reading.

General Catering Assistant duties include basic food preparation, counter service, food service, cash handling, tills and excellent customer service. Due to the type of produce sold you will need to use an electrical meat cutting machine, full training will be given on site.

General Catering Assistant Requirements:

• Experience in catering or kitchen environments preferred


• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a café, restaurant, or retail environment


• Flexible, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
