Sous Chef key responsibilities:


  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, preparation, and execution, ensuring a high standard of food is consistently delivered. 

  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.

  • Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met at all times.

  • Support in the training and development of junior kitchen staff.

  • Oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.

  • Monitor stock levels, manage food waste, and ensure proper inventory control.

  • Maintain a positive, efficient, and motivated kitchen atmosphere.

The Ideal Sous Chef Candidate:


  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally in a similar luxury or fine dining environment.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality, fresh dishes.

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm, professional attitude.

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
