Catering Assistant - Reading

Job Description

We are looking for a Catering Assistant - General Assistant - Kitchen Assistant to support our local client in Central Reading. This will provisionally be a 6 month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Main duties will include (but not limited to):

• Meal prepping (basic peeling/prepping veg etc.)


• Some customer facing/serving may be required


• A positive attitude


• Excellent kitchen and cooking skills


• The ability to direct student staff when necessary


• The capacity to work on high-volume food preparation, cooking, and service

Requirements:

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate 

Preferred:

• Previous relevant experience is preferred but not necessary (food service assistant, catering assistant, kitchen porter etc.)
