Chef Manager – Educational Establishment Wiltshire –Chef ManagerDay Shifts Only - Circa £28,000 plus excellent company benefitsThe CompanyOur client is an independent, co-educational, day and boarding school situated in a rural location on the outskirts of BathThe RoleWe are currently recruiting an experienced Chef Manager to join the kitchen team within this stunning educational establishment. Candidates must have experience within kitchen management and working within contract catering. We are looking someone with strong industry acumen and knowledge of external catering developments and innovations. A sound understanding of financial information and budgeting is essential.The position will be 40hrs per week and all straight shifts with no shifts finishing later than 7pmKey Tasks & Responsibilities:• Ensure the prompt provision and efficient service of all meals and catering requirements at the specified time to the standards laid down in the KPIs and SLA.• Maintain levels of stock to the agreed establishment targets• Responsible for controlling all accounts within the department• Responsible for collecting and checking deliveries as required and placing them in the appropriate storage areas• Responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness of all areas in the kitchen and of equipment.• Provide support to other members of the kitchen and front of house team as requiredSuccessful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:• Proven experience in managing and leading a kitchen team• Experience working in a standards/compliance environment• Personal innovation and passion• Methodical, thorough with persistence to see a job through to conclusion• A people person who is able to build strong relationships with co-workers• Demonstrative customer focus and service skills What Next?If you would like to know more or you would like to apply for this opportunity pick up the phone and call me, Abi Garrett, on 01225 480 240 or simply e-mail me at consultant743@catserv.co.uk.
