Job Description

The Role


  • Up to £45,000 pa

  • Head Chef position

  • Based within the Somerset countryside

  • Brand new site currently in development

  • Future developments within the business

  • Start date of Feb to support the opening of the kitchen

  • Accommodation available

  • Be involved within crop planning and farm land

  • Primarily Wednesday – Sunday shifts

  • Open for lunch & dinner service

  • 40-45 hours per week

  • Use a ‘nose to tail’ approach

 

About You


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience

  • Creative and ambitious flare

  • An understanding of British food history – or a keen interest in learning

  • Competence to create a weekly menu, utilising the on-site produce

  • Collaborate with the Head Grower for ingredients

  • Some social media would be beneficial to be able to share and advocate for the company missions

An incredible opportunity to join a new property and concept in the stunning Somerset landscape. As a Head Chef at this Restaurant Farm, you will be responsible for the designing, sourcing and creating menus. As this is a new establishment, you will assist the management team pre-opening.
