A local Charity is recruiting a Hospitality Manager to manage its Social Enterprise Guest House.
Your Hospitality Manager role will involve management of staff and service users whilst overseeing and contributing to the daily operations of the guest house.
You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of customer service and helping vulnerable adults to reach their full potential through work experience and achieving qualifications in hospitality. They know that the landscape for their services is changing, and this role presents both great opportunities and challenges for the right person.

As a Hospitality manager, you'll need to take a hands-on approach to the following:
Recruit, supervise, coordinate, rota and evaluate staff, implement an On Call system for emergency situations
Organise and coordinate operations to ensure maximum efficiency; including allocating people resource, to the teaching and mentoring of the course as well as maintaining the running and exceptional standards of the guest house
Ensure excellent customer service experience including handling customer complaints when necessary
Assume responsibility of budgeting and monitoring expenses
Networking and marketing of the service, ensuring a consistently high occupancy level Maintain records and writing reports for trustee meetings
Stock control and ordering/purchasing of products
Uphold an exceptional level of cleanliness and appearance in the guest house
Skills
You will need to show evidence or willingness to learn the following:

*Proven skills in running a hospitality service with real hands on experience.

*Confident in a kitchen environment including prepping and cooking breakfast/meals

*Empathy and patience to lead our service users through their training and work experience, whilst ensuring our customers receive high quality service
*Administration
*Maintaining a GDPR efficient computerised and paper filing and administrative system
*Pre arrival checks including balance, payments, parking arrangements, special requirements and room allocation checking in and out of guests; including post checkout feedback observation
*Effective use of third party platforms for sales and marketing rooms i.e., Booking.com *Arranging payment of invoices for suppliers and guests
*Handling enquiries either via phone, digital or email.
