Job Type: Permanent, full-time

One of our very prestigious Clients, a privately owned Estate near Bourton on the Water, is currently looking for Housekeeper.  

 

The successful candidate will be working with conservation-focussed, small household team of 6 in a private house in the Cotswolds. You will be required to undertake the normal duties associated with the position of Housekeeper.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Upkeep of rooms to exceptional standards


• Conservation-grade dusting and care of expensive items


• All-round laundry care


• Room refreshes and turndowns


• Assistance with everyday dining and drinks service


• Care of outbuildings, pool house area, storage buildings, extensive garages and stores


• Stock ordering and rotation


• Provide and uphold exceptional service standards throughout the property

 

Housekeeping staff are expected to report any defects within the house (anything from paint chips to defective equipment) to the Head Butler and to consistently ensure an established standard of excellence.

• Driving License (required)

Accommodation is not provided with this position. Due to location, a full driving license and use of a vehicle is essential.
