The Company

Our client operates a contemporary, unique gastro pub with 18 th and 19 th Century architecture still intact. This restored village pub offers delicious locally sourced food at an exceptional standard. The pub itself has a warm, welcoming and friendly feel, recently refurbished and opened, our client is looking for the people able to take this business in the desired direction.

The role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join this friendly and hard working kitchen brigade. The role of Junior Sous Chef will include consistently producing food to a high standard along with assisting in menu development and staff training. The Junior Sous Chef will also oversee at least one service per week, running the pass on busy periods. This role will suit a strong Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous looking for the opportunity to develop their career with in this ever-growing company.

Successful applicants are desired to have knowledge of working with fresh, nature inspired menus along with a strong knowledge of seasonal ingredients.

Due to the remote location and the nature of the role, candidates are required to have their own transport.

What We Are Looking For

Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:

· Experience in fresh food dining kitchens is desired.

· Ability to control and organise a medium sized brigade in the absence of the senior Chefs.
