Junior Sous Chef – Countryside Gastro Pub – Somerset – Junior Sous Chef

Circa £20,000 per annum plus gratuities and excellent company benefits

The Company

Tucked away within the beautiful Mendip Hills our client operates a stunning Gastro pub. They offer exceptional food from top quality locally sourced ingredients. Their menu is seasonal and unpretentious offering an outstanding dinning experience that appeals to all. The building itself is full of charming original features, including beams, fireplaces and a bread oven. In winter the candlelit rooms and open fires provide an intimate atmosphere for lunch or dinner. In summer guest can relax within their picturesque gardens.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a confident and truly passionate Junior Sous Chef Partie to take on this key role in this exciting kitchen brigade. The successful candidate must have experience working within a similar operation and have a passion for working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The role of Junior Sous chef will include organising and consistently producing food to the highest of standards. The post would ideally suit a driven and hard working individual who is looking to learn and develop their existing skill set within a top quality environment.

Due to the remote location, candidates are required to have their own transport.

· Experience in fresh food kitchens.

· Ability to control and organise a medium sized brigade.
