Up to £22,000 based on experience

Our exceptional client operates a stunning Country house Hotel and Golf Club, set in a peaceful area of outstanding natural beauty on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Bath. They offer a unique setting for weddings, private events and corporate meetings. They are a fine dining restaurant who prides themselves in delivering high standard of food and service offering a range of stunning dishes using only the finest of locally sourced ingredients, creatively crafted by their talented kitchen team.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join one of our high profile clients. Our client requires someone with a proven history working with fresh produce. Someone who has worked at a 2 rosette level has a hefty advantage over other candidates. This position would suit a chef who is self motivated and creative and is able to assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the organisation and running of kitchen operations. The ideal applicant will be approachable and be able to deal with busy services in calm and collect manner. We’re looking for someone who is happy to help out training Chef de parties & Commis and taking control of the pass in the absence of the Head & Sous Chef. This is an excellent opportunity for progression into more senior roles for a driven and career minded individual to prove themselves within a well respected establishment.
Due to the location of the client all applicants must be able to provide their own travel arrangements .
Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
· Previous experience in pastry would be a plus but not essential
· Excellent organisation and communication skills.
· A passion for food and its presentation, service, and quality.
· Individuals who are hungry for success in a beautiful setting.
· Highly motivated individual with experience in working in a busy environment
· Ability to work independently as well as with a team
