The Role
Working alongside the General Manager (deputising in their absence) and assisting in ensuring the delivery of the marketing, HR, product, profit and maintenance & development plans through effective day-to-day operational management and effective communications with all departments.
As Operations Manager you will play a very hands-on managerial role, attending sales meetings and inputting business development ideas, monitoring front office sales and maximising revenue.
You will be required to monitor, maintain and develop company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards are met at all times. Responsible for cost control, ensuring budgets are met and generating revenue, while maintaining and developing the hotel at all times.
What We Are Looking For
Ideally we are seeking someone with a background in a very high standard of hotel (4-5 stars) with an award winning or fine dining food operation plus banqueting. An all rounder with excellent financial and business acumen, a trouble shooter with great man management skills and outstanding communication.
Successful individuals will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:
