£40,000 - £43,000 per annum

Catering Operations Manager benefits:


  • A great working venue.

  • Working hours typically 40-45 hr week including evenings and weekends (operating hours 8am-9pm during peak trading periods) Our expectation is that during peak season your working pattern will include at least one evening and one weekend day per week

  • 31 Days holiday per annum pro rata (inclusive of bank holidays, which are normal working days)

Further to significant recent investment in the site and the sustained growth and development of this diverse business, this unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering Operations Manager to support the Senior Team, overseeing all aspects of the catering and hospitality offerings.

The venue has been operating for 50 years and is one of the UK’s leading rural attractions

Catering Operations Manager requirements:


  • A hands on approach and can do attitude

  • Previous experience within a high volume FOH role

  • Drive & ambition

  • Ability to lead from the front

  • Excellent man management and communication skills

  • Delivery of the food and service to the highest standards

  • P & L accountability, responsible for creating and operating within budgets

  • Drive innovation, developing the overall product and exceed visitors expectations.

Suited to an agile operations expert with a background in high volume catering and a knowledge and love of the food scene. This is a customer facing role, so strong interpersonal and commercial skills are a must. You'll have a minimum of 3 years proven, successful experience in a similar role, with responsibility for the provision of large scale catering to high numbers and a background with demonstrable experience of managing and motivating a high performing team.

Location: Rural, outside Cheltenham, Gloucestershire so own transport is essential.
