Catering & Hospitality Assistant and Porter – Educational Establishment – BathCirca £15,456 per annumThe CompanyOur client is a leading educational establishment situated on the outskirts of the historic city of Bath. The catering department delivers a range of services and facilities to students, staff and guests. The roleThis position will be working within the catering department, providing the services of a ‘Kitchen Porter'. Candidates will be responsible for the hygiene of the clearance areas and the management of chemicals within these areas. Candidates will also work across the educational site and all buildings within that, providing customers with excellent customer service when delivering the required catering. The position will involve the setting of buffet tables to the required standard and for transporting them safely. This post does including considerable amounts of bending, stretching and lifting and will include to delivering large orders to buildings without lifts. Meetings and events are frequently held outside of normal working hours and therefore, staff may be required to work different working patterns to meet the needs of the service.
