The Company

Our client operates a traditional English pub set in a beautiful Wiltshire village. This pub prides itself on serving award winning food cooked to the highest standards. With bar, restaurant and a large outside area this is the ideal place to relax and unwind. Serving fresh, seasonal, home cooked food, the team at the fox are committed to seasonal and local produce, so much so that they raise their own pigs to produce their own house charcuterie, air cured hams, wet cured hams, sausages and even bacon.

The role

We are looking to employ an experienced chef to take over Sous Chef responsibilities and assist our Head Chef. Shifts would consist of split and straight shifts, working five days out of seven. This would suit an experienced Junior Sous or Sous Chef looking for a new challenge. Responsibilities would involve assisting with the running of the kitchen. An enthusiasm for fresh seasonal ingredients is essential. Successful applicants will have a real ‘field to fork’ mentality.

What We Are Looking For

· Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:

· Previous experience at Senior Chef de Partie level or higher.

· Experience working with fresh seasonal produce.

· Previous experience working in rosette kitchens is desirable.

· Excellent people, man-management, organisation, and communication skills.

· A passion for quality food and ensuring a consistent guest experience.
