We are recuiting an ambitious Sous Chef to join a small friendly team at this 400 year old historic pub in the city centre. The venue has a great reputation for food and drink, with a focus on fresh local ingredients, producing modern British pub classics and small plates. The kitchen delivers a hearty lunch and dinner menu with an emphasis on innovation and quality, and a famous Sunday lunch. This is a great opportunity to deliver good quality food in an independent environment.
The role would suit an enthusiastic chef who is looking to progress into their first Sous Chef role, assisting the head chef with maintaining the reputation and standards, whilst bringing their own influence into the kitchen. The candidate must have great organisational skills, be hardworking, reliable, dynamic and approachable.
