Sous Chef – Central Location – Straight Shifts

We are recruiting a Sous Chef for this great Bristol city centre pub, a real institution on the Bristol pub scene. They have numerous sites around the UK and their very own brewery producing several great, well known beers. The food here is a good mixture of well executed pub classics, and they are seeking competent Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and cover in their absence. The role would suit an experienced CDP, looking for their first Sous Chef position, and there is great progression available within the Company.

Day to day duties…

• Assist the Head Chef with the day to day management of the kitchen operation.


• Take responsibility for the daily management in the absence of the Head Chef.


• To place orders and accept deliveries as required from nominated suppliers.


• To ensure all due diligence is up to date.


• To observe and comply to all COSHH, HACCP, Food Safety and Health & Safety Legislation at all times.

About you…

• Sous Chef or CDP experience in a similar branded environment.


• Level 2 Food Safety with a desire to complete Level 3

• Salary up to £25k / £10.70 per hour equivalent + tronc
