General Manager - 17th Century Inn – Dorset

The Package

• Circa £35,000 per annum

The Company

The site has recently been renovated and now has a fabulously warm and welcoming interior.  The 17th-century bar continues with a period feel, flagstone floors, antiques, and a fashionable mismatch of tables and chairs. There are cosy alcoves to hide in, leather banquette seating and of course roaring log fires. There are beautifully appointed double bedrooms at the location

The site has a well established reputation for serving irresistible food and drink. Food that you really look forward to eating knowing that it is fresh, seasonal and sourced locally. The site offers a great range of pub classics and finer dining dishes as well as a children’s menu made from the same great quality ingredients as their main dishes.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to join this renowned team and lead this establishment.  As the General Manager you will be responsible for assisting in daily running of this Gastro Pub along with ensuring guest expectations are exceeded.

The General Manager will also be responsible for supervising and training junior members of the team along with serving and conversing with all guests.

The ideal Manager candidate will have an infectious personality along with previous experience with in a high quality Restaurant or Gastro Pub environment. Candidates are also required to have a real passion for food and its service on all fronts.
