We are looking for a highly motivated, professional Operations Manager to join our management team within this 67 room country hotel in Woking. This is an exciting role for a hands on manager to join a team in a successful hotel property.
This role will report in to the General Manager and requires a candidate who wants to lead a team by example and develop relationships with both guests and their team.
A successful Operations Manager will have a background in delivering successful events and functions and ensuring a high standard of service in their previous management roles. This role deputises for the General Manager and will require the ability to work shift-work, inclusive of weekends and late nights.
Primary Operations Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations of the hotel, inclusive of Front Office, Food and Beverage, Conference and Banqueting and Kitchens.
- Maintain cost controls across the operational departments of the property in line with company ratios and targets.
- Work with the maintenance and estates team to maintain a high level of health and safety compliance in the hotel.
- Continue to maintain brand standards across the site to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle day to day issues and complaints with discretion and professionalism.
- Provide hands on support to all departments where necessary.
Operations Manager Requirements
- Previous Operations Manager experience within medium to large country hotels.
- High level leadership skills with the ability to develop and train staff.
- Proven experience delivering and running weddings and exclusive high end events of 100+ covers.
- Knowledge of Opera and Micros systems is desired however not essential
