Our client operates an ever-growing collection of high-end yet traditional Gastro pubs, serving modern awarded food and drink to an exceptional standard. Recently refurbished and opened, word has spread on the pedigree of the establishment and the staff to the local clientele and they are enjoying a loyal following of guests who love the quality of food on offer along with the atmosphere and service. With a passion for fresh food and local produce, our client is currently collecting local and national awards in this quaint location.
We are currently looking to recruit a focused and hands on Restaurant Manager to join this friendly and successful team. As the Restaurant Manager you will be expected to supervise the day-to-day operation along with assisting in promotional ideas, maintaining the standards of service and training along with being the face of the operation. Working a variety of shifts, key parts of this role will be over seeing and constantly improving the consistency of service along with developing the members of the team. This is a hand’s on position and is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career in this ever-growing, ambitious company.
The food served with in the establishment is a modern British style, produced with all local, fresh ingredients. After recently receiving 2AA Rosettes for their food and service, they have also had a very positive response including local and national coverage.
Candidates for this role are required to have previous service experience, ideally at a Rosette standard, with in the hospitality trade. The ideal Restaurant Manager will have a passion for providing an exceptional service; have a happy outlook along with a welcoming personality.
What We Are Looking For
Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous Managerial experience with in a Coaching Inn, Gastro Pub or Restaurant with Rooms would be a perfect background.
- An enthusiastic, welcoming and infectious personality.
- Previous experience in rosette awarded establishments is desired by our client but not essential.
- Excellent people, organisation, and communication skills.
- Ambitious individuals looking to progress to a General Managers role in the next 6 months.
