The Company
This independently owned popular pub is a fusion between traditional country pub with a contemporary gastro style, featuring a coffee shop, bar, restaurant and courtyard garden.
The Role
As Chef Manager, leading this small brigade, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the food operation . This includes liaising with suppliers, stock control and ordering, staff supervision and training, quality control and ensuring compliance with legislation at all times.
What We Are Looking For
Successful individuals will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in head chef / chef management roles with financial responsibility
- Ability to maintain the highest standards at all times and a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinking - top Head Chefs are visionaries who rely on innovative thinking to develop and implement strategies and menu ideas.
- Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.
- Great team player and motivator with the passion to take autonomy for the kitchen.
- Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.
