The Role

We are seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef who wants to be a part of an amazing, award-winning team in a world renowned resort.

As Junior Sous chef you will work alongside the talented Michelin starred head chef to lead his enthusiastic and hardworking brigade, overseeing all sections and creating fantastic dishes using locally sourced, fresh produce.

You will need to be experienced in fine dining cuisine (preferably with a 2/3 Rosette level background) and be able to shine under pressure.

The working hours are around 40-45 per week, mainly straight shifts, to suit the business needs. Service includes 5 dinner and 2 lunch shifts per week.

What We Are Looking For

Successful candidates will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant
• Ability to maintain the highest standards at all times and a keen eye for detail.
• Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.
• A good work ethic and mentality are essential for this role – it can be demanding at times but a good attitude is essential.
• Great team player and motivator with the passion for creativity.
• Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.
