Job Description
Our client is a laidback, independent restaurant in the Vale of Glamorgan, with a great ethos on seasonal, local produce and really good, simple food. They have an enthusiastic and dynamic team and are seeking someone to complement and strengthen the team. They are a fairly unique establishment and have a great atmosphere.
We require a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef, to work 40-45 hours a week, alongside the team, preparing, cooking and plating great dishes. Experience in catering is essential, but fine dining experience is not. Training will be provided and we employ some unusual and contemporary cooking techniques.
Formal Training / Qualifications are not essential, as long as you are switched on and hungry to improve, with a real passion for great food you will fit in well.
Due to the location of the establishment, your own transport is desirable but not essential.
