The Role

Night Porter position, good varied role in a small family run hotel, attending to guests and their every need, check ins, housekeeping, cleaning, serving and setting up the banqueting hall for weddings and events. You will be responsible for making the guests feel welcome, comfortable and attending to the bridal suite.

As a Night Porter you will be the first port of call and must be able to establish a strong rapport with both staff and guests with an approachable manner to ensure the smooth and successful running of this establishment. Creating a fantastic welcoming environment for guests to enjoy their stay.

Candidates will require their own transport due to the location of this fabulous venue as it is situated in beautifully landscaped grounds in rural surroundings.

What We Are Looking For

Successful Night porter candidates will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:

• Strong background in Customer Service, with reception or night portering experience and excellent attention to detail.
• Ensure that the service provided to all guests is warm and memorable.
• Ability to maintain the highest standards of customer service at all times.
• Excellent work ethic, willing to go the extra mile for all clientele.
• Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.
• Great team player and motivator with the passion for Customer Service.
• Clean and Organised
• Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.
