Our client operates a quaint renowned Gastro property in the Welsh hills. This warm establishment is known for its exceptional food, drink and service offering. Using ingredients grown on site or sourced from local farms, the menu is constantly evolving and changes with the season. They continue to receive credible reviews on a national level, our client is looking to continue to develop their product and attract a variety of clientele to this lovely part of Wales .

The role

We are recruiting for a professional and forward thinking Sous Chef to join this ambitious team and take on this key role. As the Sous Chef you will be responsible for the standard and the production of food items along with menu development along side the Head Chef. The ideal Sous Chef candidate will be able to demonstrate a stable professional background in fresh food kitchens, ideally to a rosette standard or similar and have a real modern flair to their cooking style.

· Previous experience at a Sous Chef level with in a rosette standard establishment or similar.

· A natural ability and flair for quality cuisine.

· A love and passion for British produce and seasonal menus.

· Excellent people, man-management, organisation, and communication skills.

· A passion for quality food and ensuring a consistent guest experience.
